Mission Statement
The China National Day Foundation is a non-profit, non-political Sacramento-based volunteer group. Our sole purpose is to enhance friendship and mutual understanding and to promote cultural awareness and economic opportunities between the United States and China.
History
• Founded in 2002 by a group of Chinese-American community leaders.
• There was no organized celebration of China National Day (October 1st) in the Sacramento area before 2002.
• Local Chinese-Americans had to go to the Bay area to attend celebration events.
